Terms and Conditions for Buyers
The following terms and conditions apply to customers buying from the timpanys.com website.
If you would like to use Timpanys to act as an agent to sell your item, please refer to our terms and conditions for sellers.
All orders placed online will be processed and shipped within two (2) business days following the initial order date. Please note that we do not ship to post office boxes, third-party international shipping companies, or freight forwarding companies and will require a physical home or business address for all shipments.
Timpanys website only includes the cost of the item and the shipping. Any duty or taxes may be added at the time of delivery. International customers will be responsible for payment of any applicable duties at the time an order arrives at its destination.
In an effort to protect our customers and avoid fraud, we will only ship your order to the billing address. If you require shipment to an alternate address, Timpanys reserves the right to require the following as proof of identification:
- Two (2) valid forms of photo identification that include the name, photograph and signature of the cardholder. Valid forms of identification include a valid passport or driver’s license. At least one proof of identification must include the same address as the one entered during the order process. Without two forms of identification and at least one of the forms showing the recipient’s address, we will be unable to process your order.
- A copy of the original credit card used to make the purchase. Please provide a copy of both the front and the back of the card, so that we are able to clearly see the card number, name on the card and the signature.
We want you to feel confident that you will have a good shopping experience with us. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item(s) at your own cost providing it is:
- Within 7 days of receipt or within 9 days of the order for click and collect, whichever is less, and
- The plastic security tag and label remain undamaged and attached to the item. If these security items appear to have been tampered with, we reserve the right not to accept the return on the grounds that the product has been used.
If both of the above criteria are met then we will be happy to offer you one of the following return options:
Return Options:1. Exchange your item for another item in our Sunningdale dress agency boutique or on our Timpanys.com website.
2. Offer you an ‘on account’ credit valid for a period of one year from the date of issuance.
3. Issue a full refund for your purchase.
NOTE:All refunds will be issued in their full amount minus the cost of any shipping charges incurred by Timpanys. If your original order qualified for free shipping and you decide to return items for reasons other than a defect or damage, the original shipping charge will be deducted from the amount that you are refunded.
How do I return an item?
To return an item that you have purchased, and providing the plastic security tag and label are not damaged, please refer to the following steps:
Step 1:Contact our customer support to request a Return Authorisation number (RA).
Step 2:Pack your items appropriately to ensure no damage during the return shipping process. Please ensure that you have packaged your item well so it is protected and secure whilst in transit. Timpanys cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to items as a result of poor, insecure packaging. Be sure to include all original packaging and enclosed materials including invoice, any authenticity cards and dust bags. All items must be returned in their original condition with security tag and label intact. Any items returned to Timpanys that are not in their original condition will be returned to you and no refund will be issued.
Step 3:Ship the item(s) back to Timpanys.
Once the item has been packed securely, apply the shipping label we supplied via email and contact us to arrange for collection. All item(s) must be returned (post marked) within 7 days of receipt. It is recommended that you purchase shipping insurance for the return shipment. You will be responsible for any items that are lost or damaged in the return shipping process.
Any items not returned within this timeframe or any items returned without an RA number, missing and/or damaged security tag and label will be rejected by Timpanys. You, as the customer, are then responsible for any costs associated with the return shipping if you require the item back.
Step 4:Timpanys will issue the ‘on account’ credit/refund. The ‘on account’ credit or refund will be issued for the original total purchase amount less any shipping and handling fees that you were charged or that were incurred by Timpanys (as in the case of free shipping). All credits will be issued on account and can be used for subsequent online in-store purchases for a period of one year from the date of issuance.
In the case of an international purchase, refusal to pay customs and excise fees upon delivery will results in additional return shipping charges. In such cases, you, as the customer, will be responsible for any additional charges incurred by Timpanys.
As we only have one of every item. If an item is sold in store before it is sold online we reserve the right to honour the in-store sale and will not fulfil the online order. We are sorry for any frustration this may cause.
Timpanys also reserves the right not to fulfil any order that they believe to be fraudulent or if a pricing error has occurred.
The buyer understands that Timpanys is an agent and any excess of the ultimate selling price over and above the price agreed with the owner is retained by Timpanys as commission; at no point is title transferred to Timpanys but remains with the owner throughout.
