5 spring outfits for this weekend

Posted on

The weekend's over and I'm pretty sure that on this gloomy Monday we're all waiting and planning our next one already. That's why we’ve put together our top picks for what to wear this weekend, no matter what your plans. Whether you prefer to spend your weekends out with the girls, cocktail in hand and a dance floor nearby, or prefer to be wrapped up warm in front of the TV, we all want to look great doing it and don’t you worry Timpanys has got you covered.
Outfit 1: “Night on the town”
If your more of the party type, and would rather a wild night out with the girls, then this look is for you!. How about opting for a more edgy and unique look this weekend like this faux leather dress from Pinko. The draped wrap skirt and oversized shoulder bow helps to exaggerate that hourglass figure and pinch in that waist. Remember spring nights can still get cold, so make sure you layer your “night on the town” dress with a classy warm winters coat, I’ve opted for this black and white leopard print pinko piece to give a sophisticated shape with an eye-catching print. Finally, grab your favourite black heels, like these Gianmarco Lorenzi', a small Jimmy Choo handbag… and you’re ready!
Outfit 2: “Romantic dinner"
For this "romantic dinner" outfit I’ve opted for a classic midi length green Cefinn dress, underneath a Versace leather studded jacket to add a little edge to the look. I've then paired this outfit with some over the knee Stuart Weitzman black heeled boots, which I think work great with anything midi length, and finished the look with a mini Helmer bag, which can be found in our Sunningdale store.
Outfit 3: “Brunch”
Super tight-fitting clothes are not your friend when at a “bottomless” brunch situation, so opt for something loose-fitting or stretchy, like this BCGC elasticated waist maxi skirt, in an eye-catching yellow. I've then paired this maxi skirt, with a graphic print white Marni T-Shirt.
Outfit 4: “Day in the country”
Spring is in the air and who else loves a little country break just as the sun starts to peek back through the grey clouds? If you're one of the girls that loves a country day out, this is the look for you. I actually had an inspiration image for this outfit which I've popped next to the photos below so you can see! I've chosen a spring muted yellow Ganni jumper with puffs sleeves, and a pair of black Chanel corduroy trousers. I've then chosen two different shoes depending on what your daily activities will be, firstly a black pair of Christian Dior waterproof boots for that inevitable dog walk. These would fit perfectly over the top of the trousers and will keep them from getting too muddy. The second pair I chose are a pair of brown Chloe snakeskin pointed boots. I would suggest rolling up the hem of the corduroy trousers if paring with boots like these so they sit just above the shoe. I would wear these if the day was a little less muddy and involved a sunny pub lunch.
Outfit 5: “Cosy night in”
Let's be honest, how many of us prefer a cosy night in to a crazy night out? I’m certainly one of them, and what better way to enjoy your favourite take out, whilst binge-watching that new Netflix series than doing it wearing your favourite comfy pieces cuddled up on the sofa like these amazing Alexander McQueen silk pyjamas.
As we’re all about sustainability here, and loving your clothes for longer, all these pieces and looks are perfect to be worn all year round. They can be layered for the colder months or dressed down for the warm spring evenings that are steadily on their way. Which outfit would you pick?
