1. E-COMMERCE & STORE ASSISTANT

We are currently looking for an ambitious fashion lover to join our growing team. The person we are looking for will be an all-rounder as they will be dealing with customers with exacting standards as well as working on the back end of our e-commerce store. Starting September 2018.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Selling in store
  • Social media
  • Taking in items - choosing pieces that will sell well
  • Visual Merchandising
  • Customer service: from styling to complaints
  • Managing the store on some weekends
  • Assisting the store manager
  • Product photography for website
  • Product descriptions for the website
  • Shipping items & handling returns
  • Writing well-researched blog posts

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Previous fashion experience preferable, not required
  • Great interpersonal skills - customer facing experience
  • Quick typer and very tech savvy - must be able to bring their own laptop
  • Excellent understanding of all social media sites: Instagram, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter - with a creative eye for new content and ideas of how to grow our platforms.
  • Knowledge of luxury fashion preferable, not essential
  • Passionate about fashion
  • Creative, organised, reliable, trustworthy & tidy
  • Excellent written English
  • 18 and over

Pay: £65 / day - over time is paid at £8.20 / hour. This will be reviewed after 6 months to include commission.

2. E-COMMERCE FASHION STUDENT INTERNSHIP(S)

We are currently looking for a few fashion geeks to intern at Timpanys who are hardworking, have an interest in luxury fashion and are enthusiastic about working in eCommerce. You will see every aspect of running a fashion boutique as well as an eCommerce site. Our working environment is fun and we GET THINGS DONE! Starting now.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Creating social media content
  • Writing product descriptions for the website
  • Shipping/packaging products
  • Customer service
  • Instore VM
  • Product photography
  • Assisting with general admin duties
  • Researching products
  • Helping liaise with bloggers

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Preferably studying a degree in Fashion/Marketing/PR/Tech or relevant field
  • Excellent computing skills - preferably be able to bring their own laptop
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and a creative eye for new content
  • Knowledge of luxury fashion preferable, not essential
  • Passionate about fashion
  • Creative, organised, reliable, trustworthy & tidy
  • Excellent written English
  • 18 and over / minimum one month
