"I'm not afraid of heights....have you seen my shoes?" Carrie Baradshaw
As I'm sure you've guessed, I'm talking heels...big, high, sky scraper heels! This may terrify some of you but not me! The higher the better. Printed, patent or plain, nothing else cheers me up more than a fabulous pair of shoes.
Sometimes, a statement shoe can really make an outfit. It's the belt, the earrings and the necklace all rolled into one. Here's my guide to making a hero out of the shoe. And, to make it even better, the shoes below are in store and online now and my outfit choices are also available in store. But hurry, they are so fabulous, we doubt they will be in long.
Jimmy Choo Viper Leather Pumps
There is very little I can say about these shoes apart from....FABULOUS! Dressed up with a fitted black dress or jumpsuit, or dressed down with a pair of black leather trousers or jeans. My suggestions would be a pair of skinny black jeans or leather trousers and a gold jumper. Even though these shoes speak for themselves, picking out the gold instead of the black and white will just tie it all together.
Mary Katrantzou X Gianvito Rossi Courts
These really are a work of art for your feet. The floral design is very on trend, as shown by D&G, Valentino and Christopher Kane (the list goes on). It's taken on a much darker mood which is perfect for AW15 - leaving the pastels back in spring and delving into the deeper shades for something extra special. Making a statement with a classic LBD.
Christian Louboutin Dark Green Ankle Boots
Another timeless design in a timeless colour. I'm my opinion the more casual of the three choices but still just as fabulous. Louboutin is all about the postbox red sole so to wear a long trouser or jean (in my opinion) is a crime. Honour the King of Sole and team with a pair of skinny jeans and a parka
